The following spreads feature profiles and artwork from this year’s twelve. In the process, beyond the final twelve that are featured here, we’ve been delighted to discover many talented creators across the state that we look forward to following as their work and careers grow. We were honored and grateful to enlist the help of another guest juror this year: Andrew Connors, director of the Albuquerque Museum, who helped us accomplish the difficult task of narrowing down the final selection to twelve. And, like last year, the quality and diversity of work have been astounding. This year, like the year before, our open call received over 400 submissions from artists of all ages, backgrounds, and from all corners of the state. These are artists whose works are shaping the landscape of contemporary art in the Southwest.
